Bay Crohn's Sufferer

Hi, I am a 30 year old mother of 3 young boys. I have been sick for years but finally did something about it in December last year. After many blood tests, barium xrays, colonoscopy's, gastroscopy's and other awful tests I got the diagnoses of Crohn's Disease. I would love to talk to anyone in Hawkes Bay who also has Crohn's.

It sounds as if you might be in Hawaii, I don't know where you are but will look it up.
I am in Canada and so not near to you geographically.

You must have your hands full with the children.

I should have known from the first place name .
You don't have much population where you live.
Do you have to travel far for GI appointments?
It must be harder for you if you are isolated.
Your population is listed at around 4000.Is this true.

Hy trysha, um I think you might have read it wrong NZ has a population closer to 4 million, not 4 thousand...hahaha you made me laugh when I read that.
Thanks for your comment though. I have to travel about an hour to get to my GI appointments, its not that bad - it gives me a chance to do some shopping at the same time..
