Being treated with Prednisone +Flagyl

I'm in hospital being treated for a flare and to have some scopes done. They're giving me IV pred and flagyl. What are they giving me the antibiotic fur? I don't have any infections I don't think. What are the benefits of this double treatment? Will it induce remission with the Steroids,flagyl, weekly humira and imuran? I'm only 18 so don't wanna be a jumped up drug dependant!! I wanna get off Pred and Flagyl and only take my Humira,nexium and imuran. Oh will a probiotic also help me out and get better soon. I have important plans for OCTOBER and wanna be healthy as can be!!
