Im going to a music festival in 2 weeks and i have emailed them to see if i could get access to a disabled toilet in a result of an emergency.. to prevent any accidents seeing as the queues for the toilets will be stupidly long..
They replied saying they would be happy to assist with my request if I could confirm my need for the facilities.
Whats the best way to do this? a Dr's note?
Would i be able to get a note from my gp and not my consultant as it may take too long seeing as i only have 2 weeks?

Hi Kb,

I am in Ireland and i got two cards (same size as business cards) that were issued to all members of the crohns society that request immediate access to the bathroom anywhere due to a chronic medical condition.

Don't know where you are but maybe something like that is a runner for ya ( no pun intended)

Regards

haha, im in ireland also so ill maybe look into this thanks. Do you reckon i would be able to get a card with in 2 weeks?

I'd do both, get the card and a note from at least your GP. There's no harm in getting the card even if it doesn't come in 2 weeks time.

The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation has this, too-maybe Google them, see what they have for the UK.

hahahaha . . . . sure it is a shhmaallll world eh !!

yeah ya would easily get it in two weeks, if ya want to get in touch with the iscc in dublin.

cheers

the NACC do one, and you can get a key for diasabled toilets as well (most prob no good for festival but may come in handy some other time)
