Black dots on walls of colon, help.

I recently had a colonoscopy ( yesterday ) and they found black dots on the walls of my intestines. Does anyone know what these are or have ever seen them? They look like small black freckles. The GI doctor says he does not know what they are. All my biopsies came back normal.
