Bleeding from my j-pouch...HELP!

For the past two weeks I have had some bleeding from my j-pouch and I am concerned. It is more than just a red streak but not as much as before the surgery (when my UC was bad). I have some mucous and clots with it. Every time I empty my bag, I empty my pouch too. I have called my doctor about a week ago and he said some bleeding is normal and that introducing anything into the pouch will cause more damage. It still bothers me though. I am having discomfort but no pain and no fever. I just went back to work on Monday and am worried that the stress of working 12 hour shifts is effecting me.
Has anyone else had bleeding from their pouch?? Should I be concerned?

so just to clarify, you have a j-pouch and stoma(bag) at the moment and are waiting for reversal?

any type of blood isnt good, especially as its now been 2 weeks. have you got a number for an on-call IBD nurse/consultant where you are? id say that it hasnt improved and you want to be seen asap and dont take no for an answer. im not saying its anything, but its ALWAYS best to get it checked out sooner rather than later.
