Bleeding :(

Came off Pred about 4 days ago and have been having the odd stomach cramp since but nothing major, then today had bleeding out of no where?
Any ideas what this could be due to?

Some inflammation may have possibly returned after coming off the pred? I'd certainly speak to your doc anyway. Have you tapered off the pred slowly?

I'm sure it never went away fully to begin with, but I've never had bleeding before? Could be a one off I suppose..
Yes, tapered off from 40mg, down 5mg a week, they are planning on putting me on aza soon.

I am sorry you're bleeding, Natalia. It sounds like pred didn't fully address your inflammation. As Rob suggested, you best touch base with your GI. Good luck.

Suppose I will have to see how azathioprine works out for me!

How long have you been on azathioprine? It can take up to 3 months to take full effect.

Hope the azathioprine works for you! as jill says it can take a while to start working, which caused me problems for a while but once it did work it was great. At first It made me very nauseous after taking it in a morning but i soon learnt to make sure i took it with food and that helped a lot. So long as your body and blood results show that you are tolerating it you should be fine
