Its literally like the inside of my cheeks, and the skin looks.... raw, almost blistered, and it hurts like the devil,

I suspect its just skin irritation though there are a couple of spots that look like more traditional blisters,

What im wondering is what if anything you all have found helpful? A&D? Diaper creme?

a little coconut oil is soothing for a bit but i dont think thats going to do much to actually heal it?

I'd strongly suggest having a doctor look at it. I suspect it's not related to your Crohn's but is something that should be treated.

I had issues with redness and almost a sort of rash, which would really sting after BM. I was told that it was due to Crohn's, with the BM being more acidic than usual - effectively chemical burns.

I used Sudocrem (diaper cream) very regular to create a barrier over the affected skin. Took a few days but there was improvement.

I had something that sounds similar. It was inside my bottom cheeks and related to too much wiping and too many bowel movements over a 24 hour period. This happened after I accidentally ate a chilli dish and had "burning rings of fire" the next day. It looked a bit like nappy rash. It hurt, was red raw and was so sore. So I went into my garden and broke a stem off my aloe vera plant. Opened it up and used the gel on the soreness. Worked within 48 hours, and then I moisturized with calendula oil. All good. Healed very quickly. Been paranoid about chilli ever since. :)

Hi aideen , yep sounds familiar. I used aloe Vera toilet wipes/tissues and also had some hydrocortisone cream from my docs, that is
what helped me, hoping you get relief soon.. Best wishes..
