Found my way back. YEAH....I've lost a couple of days, but here goes. Told Dr. had bad leg cramps, did ultra sound and determined I have blood clots. Treatment is blood thinner, don't wanna go there, so within minutes , prepping me for surgery to place a blood clot filter. I guess everything went ok, but now I'm back to getting really sharp pains in my rt. abdomen. Between the sudden op, the pain, and the higher doses of pain meds, I'm a real piece of work.

On going....the GI as determined that his office is having a hard time relocating me due to my health benefits. I've been trying to tell him that but doctor's won't listen. anyway, I'm becoming proactive again in locating which facility will be best for me both physically and financially. My husband is backing me with whatever decision, but I told him we will make them together. We are a team and that's how this is gonna work. We are open to experimental trials, surgery, being seperated weeks at a time if necessary, whatever it takes. And I have all of you.........ssssoooooo...let the games begin!!!!!!!

PS. My mother is worried because it was 8 years ago today that my father went into the hospital with a heart condition. After 12 days and open heart surgery, Papa passsed on 8-19-2010. This just makes her more anxious about me. I tell her I'll be okay, and I will, this is just a completely different situation. Please pray for peace for my mom. She is realy stressing and missing my daddy.

Hi Bev, it's lovely that you popped in. Tell your Mum we are all thinking about her as well. I imagine I will be the same no matter if Meg is 16 or 66, as a mum we always worry. Am sending you both big hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Awe, Beverly you are going through the ringer. Remember there will be light at the end of the tunnel, it just may take a while to get through the tunnel. Praying for you

Jeff

Bev you have my utmost respect - i don't think that i could remain so positive, and in such good spirits, in the same situation. kudos to you girl!

you will get there, you know you will, i'm just sorry that you're having to suffer while time is dragging on before you get to that point.

i feel for your mum too... i know how hard it is - it's now 9 years since my lovely dad passed away, and my mum misses him acutely, as much now as then. so do i.

i'm thinking of you all, and send my love to you, your wonderful hubby, and your dear mum. ((hugs))

Hi Bev - Sorry for your rough time, but sounds like you have a good attitude and a great hubber. I have found those two things to be the most useful tools in dealing with health issues!

Hang in there and I hope things start to look up for you very soon.

- Amy

PS Parents never stop worrying, do they? Hugs for you and your mom.
