Hi everyone.
Since my second bowel resection in Nov. 2016, I've had D nearly every time. I've been taking Immodium, but noticed that everytime that I take it, I have quite a bit of blood in my stool, and when I don't take it, there's no blood. My doctor's booked til October, so I went to ER last night. CAT scan with contrast and blood draw said everything was fine, and I've really not had any other Crohn's symptoms for a while. When I take the Immodium and the stool is more formed, it HURTS going thru the digestive tract. I'm thinking that the formed stool is ripping thru scar tissue and that's what's causing the blood?
Does that sound possible, or has anyone had anything similar happen? Do you take the Immodium and suffer thru the pain and blood or just live with crazy D every day?
