Bloods again!!

Just been to docs for Kian to have yet another blood test. 3rd in a matter of few weeks as the last 2 tests have gone awol!! not impressed at all though i know it has to be done but getting lost twice is not good enough!! will know by monday the reults so fingers crossed all is well. He got his flu *** also today so thats him all done n dusted for the coming winter months, poor little man, 2 needles today but doesnt put him up nor down. hope everyone else is doing good. xx

Ouch! That really isn't good enough - you can forgive losing them once, but twice is terrible. Hope they get it right this time!! No one has mentioned Andrew getting the flu jag.

yea me too, especially when on his meds. just cant understand where they have got to?? gets flown to Glasgow to the southern lab, fingers x this time or i wont be a happy bunny. Yea Kian got his first flu *** last year n i just happened to mention it today n his nurse said could have it there n then. i dont know whether its because of the crohns or because of the meds he is on. it didnt put him up nor down n touch wood he didnt have a cold last year at all. xx

Flu shot is standard over here for kids with Ibd.
Any on immunosuppressants get a letter to remind you to get the flu shot and not the mist.
DS gets it regardless becAuse of asthma.

Hope the blood work makes it to the lab

Well kians ibd nurse has just rang n said that kians bloods are all fine, thank goodness!! such a relief after waiting for longer than normal. Gona chill tonight now with a large glass of chardonnay,

That's good news! What a relief they didn't lose them again .
Chilling myself - trying not to open the rather large tub of Celebrations that I have bought for someone elses Christmas!
