Bone marrow issues??

I had blood work again as I have been experiencing upper(by the spleen/pancresis) pain, nausea, headaches, fatigue real bad, feeling my heart is beating out of my chest and any cut I get bleeds out of control.


Anyway..my blood work showed low RBC, low WBC, low ABS Lymph ct, and High MCH.

asplatic anemia is one thing that is common..which is also know as bone marrow failure.

Has anyone else had issues with blood work?? any nurses on here?

im on pentasa, Imuran and Remicade for my crohns.

It is almost certainly your meds that are doing it. I have the same, also low Hb so although my gastro would like me on weekly Humira and aza, I am on Humira every 10 days and no aza.

It depends how low they are whether they will change your meds. My gastro is happy-ish if my WCC (total white count) is above 3 (ref range 4-11 for uk) and neutrophils above 1.2.(lower limit 1.8).

Is your gastro aware of your blood results.
