Ok, this may be humorous to some. But Stan would like some air. It's been very warm here in the UK. I've been working through it all. Sod it, Tues Weds it's to get cold again. (typical on MY weekend!)

Anyway, Stan needs some air. He's tired of his bag.

As an ileostomist (is that a word??) he goes when he darn well feels like it! And a right bugger he is!

Is there a cap for stan that will still give the poor lad some air???? Just for an hour or so???

Its embarrassing asking this I assure you.

Misty and Stan :ytongue:

Hey you, this all so new to me, BUT I'm sure my stoma nurse mentioned something of the sort to me, when I told her I wanted to continue playing badminton. Have you asked your nurse? I'm at the hosp again tomorrow, so will double check for you. (wish I had one of those today!!)
Hugs xx

A bikini for a stoma!!! Yuppers, that would be fab. Ya know, I could make millions! Hahhhaaa!!!

Seriously though, in the heat of summer, what are our poor stomas to do?? Besides leak in public the *$&'s. But in private, if we make them happy, will they behave?

Misty

HAHAHA- just checked out my info here from my SCN and Coloplast make a plug but it's for Colostomies and not Ileo's. Just my bloody luck!!

Born Free, as free as the grass grows, as free as the wind blows....

My luck too mate. I'm thinking an italian size condom? Yes?

(sorry to italians, my first husband was italian...it would fit!) ahem.

If you aren't laughing, you need a holiday!!

Misty, you're KILLING ME over here!!!

I think the best we could do with our ileos is a very, very small pouch. Then hold off on the coffee and sodas or that sucker will blow right off!

Please send a peeeeppeeee teeeee peeeeee please. You americans think of everything!

Stan had 5 minutes of air today. He was overjoyed. He actually behaved himself! Then Freya jumped on the bed to have a nose. (my Irish Terrier) Stan was so frightened I almost lost him! (they ARE just like peni's arent they?) :rof:

Misty

Well they certainly didnt have them when I raised my God son I tell ya! The amount of times I got it in the face with him having a proper belly laugh I cant tell ya!

But I'll try anything.

Misty

Oh, the cold nose didnt impact Stan. She was just looking! She is always one to barge the door open when I empty. She's FASCINATED by this whole process. She sits there, cocks her head, looks at me...cocks her head to the other side, and proceeds to sneeze and back out of the room.

Only sneezes and backs out when Mexican food has been consumed previously I hasten to add! (dont blame her actually)

Misty

What's with the sneezing?? Darwin sneezed every evening on my leg when I prepare his food. He gets up on the counter, sniffs his dog food, goes back and blows snot all over my legs. :ywow:

Otherwise, my dogs don't care at all about my bag or the contents. Ahh, the love....
