Hi all

Any tips for dealing with the above? I don’t think being under pressure is helping but honestly my GP and IBD nurse can’t explain or help me much.

Any tips would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance

There is a section in here called Mental Health Support. I think I saw where they cover that subject.

Can you attribute it to anything specific? I know that may seem like an idiotic question but there are plenty of reasons for feeling this way- depression, dehydration, malnutrition are all culprits. I would ask your dr to do a blood test and check iron and b12. In the meantime, make sure you’re getting lots of fluids and see if any of these are possibilities/

Thank you both! I had bloods done in October, Iron & B12 etc were fine. Went back again this week and I was told to try adding vitamin D supplements, although they hadn’t tested my levels they said it’s reasonable to assume it’s low.

I think being run off my feet at work isn’t helping, but there isn’t much I can do about that :-( the fatigue and ridiculous brain fog is getting me down. Sometimes I can’t even get a sentence out!

I’ve been doing a liquid diet so according to my dietitian I’m getting everything I need. I also drink plenty of water.

The only other conclusion to come to is that it’s just the ongoing disease activity and inflammation wiping me out. If that’s the case I’m going to be stuck like this for at least another 10 weeks or so before I start remicade. Not sure I can last that long!
