I have Crohn's disease. Lately, I've been developing brain fog - inability to concentrate, even on my own thoughts, it seems. I've read that Celiac disease can cause these problems, so I'm wondering if my Crohn's disease is causing it. Has anyone here experienced brain fog? If not, then perhaps I'm allergic to something...

Are you taking any meds? Prednisone causes exactly what you are talking about in me.. I'll be talking about something one minute and completely forget my train of thought.

The plus side is that I don't stay angry at my wife for long, I usually forget about it quick. :ylol2:

Yeah, pred withdrawal due to tapering causes a brain fog for me big time. Like, just turning around causes me to forget what I turned around to do in the first place. :-(

I was just thinking of posting the same question.

I've noticed in the last several months that I have a hard time concentrating. People ask me to do something for them and a couple minutes later I'll have to ask them what it was they asked me to do because it slipped my mind. Sometimes I'm also finding it hard to speak coherently. I've been off prednisone since July though

Even worse is that I have a huge test to write this week.

I know I'm going to forget half of what I need to remember!

People are even starting to treat me like I'm stupid. There is one person who has started to emphasize everything and talk slowly when asking me to do something.
