Bright red blood?

could be bleeding from the large bowel Ron.I get that when flaring,but it tends to fill the toilet bowl .or looks like it does.If it's just on the T.P. it might be haemaroids.(spelling wrong)

Does the blood go away? Does the blood turn the bowl red? I know for me, it's just part of my flare. I think I would keep a watch on it. If it gets worrisome ask your doctor.

I've had this red blood with huge pain but no hammerhoids. Don't know where it comes from
if the blood is only on the toilet paper (spotting) the chances are good it is simply hemorrhoids.
did u switch food to something different even a different brand of wheat flour is enough to trigger stomoch cramps. from personal experience it may be fistula I had this kind of bleeding around 6 months before i had a full fledged fistula. I suggest you start sitting in warm salt water for 15 to 20 mins.
could the cramps be your IBS? If I recall your FC or colonoscopy was good recently?
when I am sick in the recto-sigmoid and have blood, it is always mixed with stools and/or mucus. It starts with pale red blood (pink) then the color intensifies as I get sicker.
Bright red blood has never been on a toilet paper as a sole sign of disease for me. The few times I had this on the toilet paper only it was due to a functional problem, mini fissure or very large stool passing and forcing a hemorrhoid. this is my experience.

I agree with LadyO. I have the same symptoms.I usually know where it's coming from.When bleeding from a flare,I usually have lots of blood with the first two BMs in the morning,then none with further BMs during the day.I think it backs up during the night.
I tend to ignore spotting ,as for me it usually indicates to much D. or a struggle with constipation.

i was abit constipated the other day. Rare for me but after forcing the stool out i wiped to find bright red blood only on tissue.Again rare as rocking horse poo.. I put it down to either bust blood vessels or hemorroids, tho cant feel any of those so going to say just burst a blood vessel or two. Went again later n no blood that time.. fine so far ☺
