I would suspect this is a scam I phoned kings college and they didn't,t know about it.why would they want a donation?and have you pay for postage.
 
No way! Glad i posted here. I emailed and asked them when was the closing date and they don't have one yet. Can't believe its a scam. Thanks
 
I saw that too. I hope it's legit. Can't afford to sign up at the moment but will keep an eye on it and maybe do it next year. Anyone else interested in doing it?

Studies that are mentioned on this site come via moderators.it is a bit unusual they would like donations and for participants to pay post and packaging.
I like probably thousands of people participated in an ongoing genetics test run by the NHS and a few universities get an annual newsletter no fee and once in a blue moon get asked to go in for a check-up.
P.s for the life of me just now can,t remember what it's called
 
Not a total gut study, but a recent documentary made in Australia by SBS - Secret Life of Breasts - goes a good way to explaining how the very large, healthy bacteria loads present in breast milk are maintaning healthy gut bacteria balance so that the newborn may thrive and survive during it's very early battle against all the not-so-good bacteria trying to dominate for nutrients.
