Two days ago i had blood in my stool, maroon colored, yesterday i had diarrhea that looked semi normal, so i didn't go to the hospital, but today i cant go at all, and when i try to go i get a sharp shooting pain up my bum, has anyone else gone through this that can give me some advice? Should i just ride this out, or do i have to go to the hospital again?

Definitely contact your doctor. Maroon colored blood in the stools indicates that the problem is further up in the bowel. Any pain is not a good sign so please don't delay.
