I don't know what's going on but my legs are getting worse and worse to the point I can barely walk and need to hold on to rails or walls to get around. My pain is excruciating and not helped by pain killers.

I'm in the midst of trying to figure out what's causing my tingling legs and feet and the neurologist wants to conduct a range of tests for peripheral neuropathy and other autoimmune diseases like MS and Lupus.

I will also need to see my rheumatologist to see if my osteopenia has gotten worse. I am hoping the bones returned to normal since I have not been on steroids for several years now but I am on Proton Pump Inhibitors which are bone robbers too.

I am so frustrated by all these chronic excruciating pains. I feel like I'm just tumbling downhill. Any other ideas besides arthritis and osteoporosis that could cause such severe leg bone pains.

I hate to always have to propose that it is possibly induced by the anti-tnf.... I'Ve lived it, no explainable reason. Unable to use my hands, sometimes my feet. I would have the hardest time going down the stairs and would be under the impression it was different from "normal" arthritis. Many test have been ran. It was pointing in the direction of drug induced lupus... I suppose that if they are screening for lupus, you will be able to rule in or out the DIL. They will check for ANA and anti-histone DNA and among other things. Have you noticed anything close to a pattern of pain related to your injections? Days that are worst or better?

It's interesting that you bring that up because I injected yesterday and the pain was the most severe it ever has been today. I really hope its not related because the medication does help my Crohn's. I'm really not up for switching meds again but am considering adding on LDN.

Sorry that you are suffering I wish something would work for you, you seem to be having such a rough time. He arthritis pain I get is so painful to the point I struggle to walk and I need to have a break walking up the stairs as it gets too much. So it is possible it could be arthritis but like Jane said it could also be caused by drug induced lupus.
I hope they can figure out what is causing all the pain

Thanks guys I suppose all these tests will hopefully render an answer. I have been in pain for months but suddenly yesterday it hit me like a ton of bricks and my mom asked if I need a walker. The way I was yesterday I can't even use a walker id need a wheelchair so I'm hoping that was just an extreme "flare" in the legs and it won't be that severe.
