In my colonoscopy report it says I have Active multiple Tiny T.Ileum ulcers and everythematous nodular mucosa?

The diagnosis listed many things with question mark , Carcinoids,Crohnn"s?Tb

I am really worried. Doctor said not to worry and wait for Biopsy and TB result.

I recently visited my home country which is under developing. I have also got H.pylori for which I am taking medication. It seems the antibiotic course are working and I am free from any symptom.

a biopsy, they take a sample of your tissue, and look at it under a microscope.. maybe it takes two weeks.. but thats how they will know if you have crohns.

Thanks for your reply., the Biospy result gave a negative result. Doctor said I don't have Crohn. But since I traveled under-developing country he also took a Tb culture test for the intestine. He said it will take up to 6 weeks to get the result.

Now My question is, why did not he get the Tb result by biospy. Or he already found it positive and doing the culture test to find the right type of it? It would be great if you could explain. I am really tensed.

Tb is a type of bacteria. When they're looking for bacteria they usually culture it, meaning any bacteria present will reproduce and be able to be identified. Culturing takes time.

With a biopsy, they basically look at your cells under a microscope. It's two different things.

I hope TB culture test will come negative. Thanks to everyone for answering. I am feeling better now with no symptoms. I just need to get back some weight.
