Can you be in a flare with normal bowel movements?

Just wondering if I am in a flare or not. Normal BMS 1 to 2 times a day. But have been having bad cramps. I had a hysterectomy 5 weeks ago.

my massive flare last year I was having normal BMs for a couple of months, the only reason it was caught is because I was getting weaker and weaker, and my GI saw my haemoglobin was really low, I had been slowly bleeding and never noticed it because everything else appeared fine.

Mary, with surgery so recent, I wouldn't take any chances. It could be some other complication.

Get it checked Mary. Not worth taking a chance.
And yes it is very possible to flare with normal BMs.
