Hello everyone. I have been posting my stories here for years now. I finally have received a second diagnosis after 4 years of being unsure. The doctor quickly put me on humira. I have been taking this every other week since February. It has really helped me. I went from 20 times a day down to 5. Definite relief. Doctor put me on Lialda and i had chest pains while taking, so I stopped. Now I am just now having weak arms as a side effect from Humira. I have an appointment on Wednesday and worried that I am going to moved on to another medicine. Has anyone experienced this?

I have one other problem, that may need to be posted elsewhere but here goes:
I have been with my fiance for 10 years. We plan to get married next year. Yesterday I had a lazy day and didnt feel like going anywhere because I wasnt feeling right. I was tired (napped for 2.5 hours) after I woke up at 7am and took our daughter to school. My arms have been weak, and I just needed a relax day. He flipped out because I wouldnt go pick him up dinner. And he says that I always have to have something wrong with me (hypochondriac). Basically that I am faking what I am feeling. Man that really hurt because how would he know what I am feeling? Isn't everyone entitled to a lazy day? What should I do about this? Kick him?? :ylol:

It may be possible he is having a down day too and has just reacted poorly. If there have been no other instances in the time you have known him, I would try giving him the benefit of the doubt. It is very difficult for someone without a hidden disease to know what goes on with someone else. If his reaction did hurt you, talk about it rather than let it build up.

I agree.. But if it is a persistent thing, you guys need to sit down and have a serious talk. IF he wants to marry you, then he needs to understand what comes with it.
Hope your appointment on Wednesday goes well.
