4 weeks ago I had a hysterectomy, removing my uterus, cervix &fallopian tubes. On Monday my gynecologist / oncologist informed me the pathology report shows cervical carcinoma in situ. Removing the cervix greatly diminishes any further risk, however I will need to be tested every 6 months to ensure no 'bad cells' have migrated to other places. Long story...
My question is: does anyone know if continuing Humira for my active Crohns is putting myself at a greater risk for cervical cancer?

have you tried contacting the drug company that makes Humira and asking them? They usually have a website for patients where they can contact them directly and ask those sort of questions. good luck to you. :)

Thank you for your suggestion Gutless. I have searched the Abbott website for more info and did not find anything. I will contact them with my question. I appreciate any input and suggestions from fellow Crohns people who are also using Humira.
