Change of medication.

Hi all,
I am still flaring from March this year. Had appointment with GI middle July, yesterday had appointment GI nurse, obvious colonscope test in next six weeks and had blood test.

Question is: what medication would I need to have blood test for to see if I was gene compartable.

I don't know of a medication that is gene compatible. But, one that I know you do need constant blood tests for is azathioprine or imuran. This drug they constantly check to make sure your white cell count isn't too high.

Cross is correct about needing blood monitoring taking any of the immunomodulators and overall blood tests every few months with all meds. I have not heard anything about gene testing.
