Just wondering if anyone else has had the same...

For about 10 years I have had the exact same symptoms of very watery runny frequent bowel movements until about a month ago, I now can't seem to go to the toilet and when I do I can only describe it as sludge, I have tummy ache by the end of every day sometimes so bad that I am unable to walk!

The only way I get any relief is to eat food that I know goes right through me but it's not exactly healthy!

I have a hosp appt next week but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what it might mean, I have had crohns for 8 years officially and always had the same symptoms :(

Obviously it is best to wait for your GI, but my guess would be that there is narrowing in your rectum. Keep the diet soft if you can, keep your fluid levels good and most of all, take care. If you stop having movements or start vomiting, it would be a good idea to get to a doctor.

Thanks for replying... I'm currently on azathioprine 3 a day...

I had an MRI 10 months agog or different symptoms and it was all clear but I guess a lot can change in 10 months?!

See your GI. Change in bowel movements combined with abdominal aches or pain is a sign that something has changed. You might have an obstruction on the way. Eat soft low residue foods and drink lots of fluids to keep it moving through. High fiber foods also helps to clear the piping.
