Hello all.
I've been on remicade for about 7 months, didn't get my flu shot, and am convinced that I do have the flu. Not getting better, but not getting worse. The not getting better part is what's concerning. My GI Dr. advised me on Wednesday to follow up w/ the Primary Care Physician, but I wanted to try to see if I could kick it over the weekend.
Since I've never been on Remicade and had "the bug" like this at the same time, In the past I would usually recover from illness/show signs of improvement within a few days, but it's been 6 days of slowly getting worse. No vomiting or diarrhea, and don't believe I'm running a fever since Friday morning unless you can have a fever and not know it.... ?
I guess my question is: how bad can the flu get before it can really put you in a bad spot?
Any thoughts/guidance are appreciated.
