Cimzia doesn't really seem to be working too well for me and my Doc wants to put me on Remi. I have heard that remi seems to be the more proven drug, but the thing is i am not sure if I have the time to take the doses. Between college full time and a job, I am not sure if it is right for me, that is unless it works.

On another note I have recently started losing my hair, not so much in clumps but just a bunch of strands that fall out at almost everytime I touch my hair. I am not so sure if it is related to the Cimzia or the CD itself. If anyone has any ideas they would be extreamly helpful becuse my hair is starting to get really thin. It is normally very think and full though. I heard something about Zinc, but then others say it does not work.

Sorry the Cimzia isn't working for you. I had no luck with it either.

Remicade was a great drug for me. i started it back when I was first diagnosed at 15. it worked great for a few years until I developed an allergic reaction to it.

I think you should try it. If it works really well for you and makes you feel better, I think that it would be worth making time for it.

As for the hair loss... I don't have much input on that! i lost a lot of hair when I was on Methotrexate, but it came back after I stopped taking it.

I failed Cimzia as well, and Remi is working great for me. I still have some minor symptoms, but I'm pretty much in remission, which never happened on Cimzia. I do have to take a day off every couple months, but I look forward to my infusions.

Sorry Cimzia is not working out for you. It seems to be working pretty well for my daughter, but it just shows how different this disease is for everyone.
As for the hair loss, that happened to my daughter as well and she takes Biotin to help slow it down and with the regrowth. It's doing pretty well. It is taking a long time for it to come back in, but it is coming back :)
I hope the Remi works for you ~ i have heard nothing but great things about it from most.
