I read in various studies that ciprofloxacin is a form of treatment for mild crohn's. Has anyone been treated with ciprofloxacin or metronidazole? I haven't seen any discussion about this on the forum.

Believe it or not my GI gives me cypro and flagyl to heal up a fistula on my bum. The combo works well for.

Yeah buddy same here have you been well my friend? I haven't been on here much trying to help a few friends while I'm doing ok.

Glad you finally got on it buddy, it help you out my GI has a lot of good things to say about that med. I will pray for you my friend. Hop you get back on your feet soon

I was on a course of cipro and aza and it worked wonders to heal up anal fistulas and bring the Crohn's into remission. Its good for the short term.

I have had cipro and flagyll combined a few times for acute flares. usually prior to surgery to make it through until the flare is better and I can be scheduled.
