Cold

I have had this cold for about 2 weeks now and I'm not getting any better. Because I have had high blood pressure the dr won't let me have decongestants. I've been taking Musinex DM (doesn't work well for me). I have also still been taking my MTX because I don't want to flair again. My question is:

If I continue doing what I am doing, will this cold go away or do I need to see the Dr?

Do you think you may have an actual infection? Like are you coughing up green mess or blowing it out your nose? Do you have a bad cough? I tend to lean on the side of you at least going to see your GP since you are suppressed. Two weeks is kinda long. Feel better XX.

I had a wicked cold but turned out to be Pnemonia, but had other compications as well. I still have remnants of it and that was over 2 months ago. Meth also kinda makes your immune system more suseptable. Good that you email your doc, just to be on the safe side. Let us know what happens. Wishing you faster healing!

Doc called me and ordered anitbiotics for what I presume is a sinus infection. Hopefully I'll feel better in a couple of days.

Dang Chelli, 2 weeks is a long time to feel miserable with a cold. I truly home the antibiotics knock it out in a day for you!

I'm on Amoxicillian for the next 2 weeks.

I gave in and didn't come into work yesterday and for now I don't have a computer at home so sorry for the delay in answering.
