Colic and Crohn's?

Hi Everyone
I have an incisional hernia following a right hemicolectomy last year. Last evening for several hours I had severe sharp pain in and around the hernia mostly but also all over my bowel. It was like really severe wind/gas pains or what I imagine colic is like. I'm also awaiting a CT scan to check for another obstruction higher up in my bowel.
Has anyone ever had this and if so do you think it is the obstruction or the hernia causing the pain?

Hi Lynso. I had an incisioal hernia about 5 years ago that caused a blockage (at least partial). Once it was fixed everything was find.
