Colonoscopy over!

Had my colonoscopy today and it went ok. Started to feel some pain during it, but they gave me more meds and then it was fine. The gi doc said she saw no inflammation and no active crohns. Yipee! They did take some biopsies. She still isn't sure if my crohns diagnoses was accurate back in 2005. Those new biopsies should show her something. I hope.But I thought if there is no active crohns, then a biopsy would show no signs of crohns? She told me that we would discuss how to treat my current symptoms(ibs?) at my next appointment in August. Let the waiting games continue!

I am glad your scope went okay. Sorry to hear you still aren't certain of your diagnosis, but hoep there will be some treatment that works.
