colonoscopy prep

Well tomorrow is the day I prep for my second colonoscopy and I hope that this gets me somewhere to getting better treatment. The doctor took me off all prescriptions because none were seeming to work but loaded me up on about nine different supplements. Im just so tired and weak all the time. I will let you all know what the outcome of it is.

I hope your scope goes very well. Are you put out? What prep do you take and does your Gi tell you right there and then?

The prep is the worst thing, good luck.

Well they wanted me to take neutelyte I think i spelled that right but I was like nope im taking miralax it was easy and it worked for me the first go round so they agreed to that, so im thankful. And i have never been to this doctor before so I am not sure has to better than my last gi

Well the test is over and they said it looked normal but they took about a dozen biopsies looking for microscopic colitis. Hopefully they get something figured out and get me on some meds. Just waiting on the 10-14 days for my results

You must be glad it is over but now the waiting begins. Not sure which is worse? Hopefully they took a biopsy in a good spot for the disease to show. Don't be surprised if it doesn't! Let us know ok? Good luck.

May be doing another colonoscopy myself soon to check for microscopic colitis. Glad your all done with yours and please let us know the results/followup.
