Colonoscopy Result Question

Hi. I'm new to the forum and hoping to get some information. I have been fighting c diff for two years and have had 4 FMT's and been on all the medications over and over. No doctors have been able to figure out why and can't get rid of it for good. Last week I went to the Mayo Clinic and they did a colonoscopy, lots of blood tests and another FMT. I saw the doctor the next day and he said the biopsy results weren't back and he will call me on Tuesday with the results, but said they found some ulcers during the colonoscopy. When I read the printout of the colonoscopy report this is what it said:

2 erosions in sigmoid colon atop two inflamed follicles
ulcer at the ileocecal valve

They also took other biopsies throughout the colon.

Do the erosions and ulcer at ileocecal valve sound like Crohns?

Hi and welcome! I too have looked around trying to see what I can find, but am afraid I didn't find a whole lot. This is what I did find, however I think your best bet would be to check with your doctor. I hope you can get your answers soon and please keep us updated.

I can't answer your question, but this might help in your battle with C diff:

It's available on Amazon (Florastor, Jarrow, etc)....you can check with your Dr to see if it's ok. I've been taking it for many years (not because of C diff).
