I'm a highschooler so I take Imodium to get through my rough days, but whenever I take it, it becomes almost excruciating when the affects wear off. This being said, I haven't really achieved much remission at all yet and pretty much have to take it or risk an accident during the school day. Does anyone else take Imodium and know what I'm talking about? If there's a way for me to prevent or at least lighten that pain I would love to know.

Thanks ^^

peptobismol does just about near to nothing for me, I've tried it several times and I see no difference unfortunately, but thanks though ^^

I used to take a lot of Imodium to make it through the work day. Usually taking Tylenol helped with any pain but I'd also become very nauseous and would have to take Zofran too.

Zofran is prescription but it helps with the nausea. I also take Phenergan for it but it makes me super tired so I can only take that at home. Zofran doesn't make me sleepy so I can take it at work or whenever.

When I am flaring and load up on Immodium on the days I need to be 100% operational (like when I cover a 12h wedding) yes it would make the next morning more painful.

What helped me was eating non irritable food (or a liquid diet) the day prior and the day itself.
