Hi all,
I had several sever outbreaks of mouth ulcers, followed by abdominal pain, pale stools, mucus stools, wierd stools etc. I then had a test that showed my Calprotectin level to be very high at 193, indicatinf intestinal disease.
Since then I have had blood tests, ultra sound, endoscopy and all has come back normal?
I am going for a colonoscopy on Wednesday, what can a colonoscopy show that the other tests haven't already?
My stomach pain has gone down allot although I've been getting lower back ache and feeling very tired and run down. My stools still are pale and have mucus.
Any idea's as I am so confused that results showed high calprotectin although mrt entergrophy and endoscopy came back clear. They have riled out the H-Pylori virus, gluten intolerance, stomach ulcers, blood results showed no indication of Crohn's either.
My sister is going through treatment now for ovarian cancer at just 38 and I have heard links between colon cancer and Ovarian, do you know if the MRI Enterography would have picked up Colon Cancer? My doctor does not think it's colon cancer because of my age (35) although my sister got Ovarian at 37.
Any feedback is very much appreciated as I've had enough of all this now. (sorry for rant)
