confusion and Crohns (steroids?)

before Crohns I generally felt that anything I concentrated on I would be able to learn, since Crohns or maybe since steroids I donno my general ability to learn has become defunct.
I become very frustrated very quickly, I am trying to self learn, maybe that's a factor, though it never has been before. Every time I start studying or aim to i feel pre emptively very angry, I do resent having to change all my life plans at 28 so maybe that is part of it, I am told by others I have become much less patient, Is this normal? could it still be steroids in my system? its been at least 8 months since I took them, or is this just a consequence of fairly constant pain?

Anyone else experienced anything similar to what im attempting to express? or was it just my post that you found confusing? : P

Pain can definitely make you short-tempered. I know when I don't feel well, I tend to snap at people and get frustrated if things don't go a certain way. This of course causes stress, which can make the Crohns and the pain worse...it's a self-perpetuating cycle. It might be just me, but when I feel good, I feel like I'm a nicer person in general.

If you've been off the steroids for 8 months, I would guess that they're no longer in your system. My guess is that you're just short-tempered because you hurt, and no one feels good when they hurt.

I hope that makes sense, and that you find some say of pushing your Crohns into remission, or at least finding a way to manage the pain. Good luck!

Indeed you need this pain managed and not just by pain pills but by treating the source. Agreed that its most likely the pain and change of lifestyle that's making you irritable and that the steroids are out of your system.
