I have diarrhea but it looks, feels like it's constipated. Sometimes i have to press to get it out. There's no hard poop in it, only diarrhea.
The few times i don't have diarrhea my bm is flat
Normally you would think there's no problem to get diarrhea out..but it is. Does anyone know how this is possible?

You could have a stricture from inflammation that is causing the stool to have difficulty passing. It can also be a number of other things. Are you taking any diarrhea prevention drugs such as imodium? I am experiences this same thing right now and it is very frustrating isn't it!

No not taking anything. I'm afraid to take medicine like that cause they still haven't found what's causing it.
There's blood (black) in t with mucus?
Or only mucus. Weight loss vomiting pain. The doctor over here says he doesn't know what's wrong. Going for a sec opinion

hmmm it sounds like it could be a stricture, a second opinion will be good to have.

I'm having problems with diarrhoea at the moment but feeling constipated at the same time. I rang the IBD nurse yesterday and she told me to eat potatoes and pasta with tomato sauce (no skin). I must admit I've been eating mostly cream crackers to try and dry things up, not working obviously, so I am taking her advice, despite being very wary of tomatoes. Too soon to say whether it's helping or not. The nurse also told me to eat cake - I'm not going to do that because I really don't think sugar is going to improve my health. I don't know if this is similar to your situation, but the nurse told me I mustn't take anti-diarrhoea medication. I am seeing the GI next week.

Actually i don't know what to do anymore If i only eat crackers i also gave diarrhea So maybe i should try the potatoes an tomatoes.

Well I've been eating tomatoes for three days now and still having horrible diarrhoea, don't know how long it's supposed to take to help, and I've read that tomatoes really don't agree with many people who have IBD. Maybe I'll stick to the potatoes! I sympathise about not knowing what on earth to do.

Ah i'm sorry to hear it didn't helped you. Sometimes eating nuts helps me. Macadamia pecan salted Have you ever tried that? More than a handful

I absolutely love nuts but I'm in a nasty flare at the moment and I dread to think how they would shred my poor guts! They're pretty much top of the list of what not to eat, along with onions.
