"There is a rapidly growing network of inventors, academics and entrepreneurs who share a passion for empowering individuals to take control of their health. There is even a spirited health data movement, known as the Quantified Self, that is reminiscent of the Homebrew Computer Club, whose members helped spawn Apple and other companies in the early days of the personal computing revolution."

Bring it on!

Huh. Sousveillance has intrigued me for the last few years. This could be useful and scary at the same time. For sure, bodies and technologies have been moving closer in some wonderful ways, and self-knowledge is so important in self-help/self-health advocacy. Some days, though, I just don't want to know what's going on...it's the main reason why I keep thick duvets...hiding and procrastinating about my health issues is a lovely thing...momentarily.

Bring it on, yes. But maybe tomorrow?
