Cortifoam, Am I Using it Right?

Hi all,
I just am beginning use of cortifoam tonight, which is steroid injected from below. This question is for anyone else using it. I'm not sure I'm using it right as it is taking me about 10 minutes to fill the applicate syringe with foam? Is this normal? Should it take this long and dozens and dozens of pushes on the tube? Thanks

The first time I was on it a few years ago, the applicator filled quickly.
The last time I was on it, it barely filled at all. I took it back to the pharmacy (thinking - this has been in my ass, can you show me how to fill it??) and they couldn't get it to work either. They got a new one, and that one worked just as poorly. I gave up.
