Hello,
I'm sure most of us have heard about MAP. I have but didn't want to cut out dairy. I made the decision, based on limited research (cos sometimes I'm too tired to look into too much detail), to use Cravendale milk (in UK) as it has extra filtration. In my mind I thought this was a good idea in relation to MAP.
Now I live in the countryside and I see very happy, healthy cows in the local dairy farm and so I would prefer to get pasteurised semi skimmed milk direct from them.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you use Cravendale or UHT to reduce MAP? Do you go the other way and have raw milk?
I'd like to hear all about it, and i'm secretly hoping there'll be a good case for me buying milk from the farmer.
Thanks
