Dear fellow Crohns suffers....
I have had Crohns for almost 9 years and when I first discovered I had it it was the hard way by needing emergency surgery to save my life but thats another story.
The reason for my post is that I have tried just about every drug known and nothing helped me until I started Martial Arts training. There are several specific stomach exercises that helps tremendously with the Crohns symptoms and within 3 mins of starting the exercise my biggest symptom "the urge to go" stops instantly. I was amazed, this specific exercise helped... how counter intuitive....
I have been doing my own thing since my Crohns disease started and never really visited the various Crohns forums but now that I discovered something that works, it is my hope that I can help a few others relieve their pain caused by this terrible disease.
I really didnt now how much the Martial Arts stomach exercises were helping keep my Crohns in remission until I stop training because of a knee injury. However that injury helped me realize that the exercises can work for others.
If anyone is interested in more info please post a reply.
PS: The reason I am not naming the stomach exercise is because their is not an official name for the technique.. After asking my teacher he says its called Tan Jon breathing....
