crohn's and flu

Hi all. What happens when we get flu? Is it worse? Two in my house had stomache flu and I have had a fever since Friday (102) it comes down with tylonal and after a few days if some (just in case) Flagyl it tops out at 101.5. No vomiting but I can barely eat and the d and dehydration are crazy bad.

Waiting for GI to call back - worried it is actually an abscess.

Had this same fever for a few days a couple weeks ago.

thoughts?

You are taking azathioprine, so you really should have a flu *** to prevent you from catching it.

Hi,
My Dr gets me in each year for a flu ***, still get small colds, but have not had a full blown cold for a couple of years, well since I started having the flu jabs (2007) Remember with all the meds we are on, our resistance to colds infections etc will be lower than the General public.

I had the flu ***. I finally ended up in the ER last to get the fever under control. They found another abscess so... here I sit in the hospital waiting for the colorectal surgeon to make his rounds and tell me my fate. I guess I was just hoping it was something else. Thanks guys.
