I've had Crohn's disease for 15 years, been on various medications, and surgery to removed 3 ft. small intestines and part of colon. I'm now taking Imuran. I was 3 pills a day but it has been decreased to 2 b/c of fatigue. My weight is 137. Now that I'm taking 2 a day, I still feel horrible. I don't feel like doing anything, my body hurts (arms, legs, stomach, ribs, back), and I'm constipated. If I had to compare the way I feel to something, I would say the flu. Has anyone else experienced this? The doctor has told me a little about Humeria and Rimacade. Has anyone taken these before and if so, what are your thoughts about them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! Sorry you have to be here but I am glad that you found us. If you do a search on the site for Humira and Remicade, you will find a ton of information about it.
I have been on both. Humira worked very well for me, but then it quit working. I've been on Remicade for 1 1/2 years now and I am feeling almost perfect on it.

How long have you been on the Imuran? I had a few side effects at the beginning, but now nothing. You may want to call your GI to see if he has any thoughts on your symptoms.

I would give it a little more time as it is one of those slow acting drugs. Your GI will likely say the same thing, but you never know, you may want to call.

Me too. It took some adjustment but it did not really bother me because what I had gone through before hand was far far worse. I have felt pretty good most days for months now. 3 1/2 pills at 170lbs since January of this year.
