Sorry if this has been asked before but I am just wondering, does anyone know if taking anti-malaria tablets can have an affect on crohn's? I have had a read around on the internet and haven't been able to find a clear answer.. I am going to ring GP tomorrow anyway but want to know if anyone else has any experience with this?
I am currently in remission and would like to stay this way. I have been offered the chance to go to Ghana but at the moment me and my partner were looking at TTC!!
I don't mind so much placing these plans on hold and until I'm back to normal but I am slightly concerned going and taking the tablets may prompt a flare and its not something I want to risk whilst so near to TTC, as we would like to try as soon as I can.
So yes, does anyone knows anything about malaria tablets and crohn's flare influence?
