Hi Everyone,

I will keep this very short and simple.

My own situation includes numerous hospital stays and more tests and meds than i care to mention, mainly because i want to keep it as positive as i possibly can.

Yes i have been very sick at times .....but, tomorrow is another day and at the minute i am reasonably well....Have i felt better? Yes, but i have also felt enormously worse believe me everyone.

Do as much as you can... to keep healthy.... for as long as you can.

Stick to the instructions from your doctors and surgeons because remember . . .

THIS IS WHAT THEY DO ....Fortunately i was looked after with great care but was quite a bad case and ended up having a few operations.

I am 37 and have three wonderful children and a fantastic wife...

Many people here might be a lot younger but they also have so much to keep going for.....if you are really really careful and think about everything you eat and drink, get plenty of fluids and plenty of rest.........

You can beat this awful disease, but you need to think smart and sensibly.

All for now folks,

Be well

Bruscar

Hey Bruscar,

Good to see you found us and felt able to post on this section now.

You sound like you have been through the mill well and truly but know this is a place where you can find respite and encouragement on good days and the not so good days. You will also find there are wives and husbands and parents on here of crohns and IBD sufferers so you and your family are most welcome!

We will always listen to you ok?

As I said to Stephen (Irelandian) on his thread I am from County Antrim originally and its good to see some folks from my neck of the woods as it were!

Welcome! Looking forward to seeing you around and posting a bit more.

I feel better already !!
