Do you find that exercise causes your crohns disease related inflammation to hurt more the next couple of days or does it help control your flares?

I did some abdominal exercises a couple days ago and the last two days have been pretty hard on me. I'm just trying to figure out if its because of the exercise or its some other factor.

Most exercise affects my stomach. If I am in any pain at all, even walking will intensify it. However, since I have a dog, I force myself to walk if it is at all possible, I also do a flyball class (where I need to sprint alongside) once a week. Generally I find that my stomach settles pretty quickly after I stop exercising, but I do find I get more pulled muscles and soreness in my leg muscles, either because I am generally not as fit as before I got ill, or because I am deficient in something that is needed for muscle repair. Maybe your abdo pain is muscle related rather than Crohn's? Maybe you need to start out really slowly and build up (like 2 or 3 crunches at a time to begin).
