Crohns flare up

Hi

I recently introduced myself on this site, and said that I was having a flare-up and GP had changed tablets and put me on 2 week of steriods.

I have now seen my consultant, who has put me back on Pentasa (sachet) and 3 months of steriods. Flare up is now subsiding.

Will go to GP next week to have my perscription changed back to Pentasa.

I now have my CT scan on Saturday to look at the lump in my stomach (lower right hand side). Hopefully this is nothing to worry about too much!, will wait to hear what consultant finds on the scan.

I'm on the same currently but only a week (well hopefully, he gave me enough for 2) of pred with 8g pentasa a day (split between morn and eve), so I completely sympathise!

Try not to worry about your CT too much - at least they will find out what the lump is!

I hope your flare subsides soon!!
