Has anyone developed any liver issues related to Crohn's? Diagnosed in 2003; currently on Asacol, 6MP, and more recently prednisone (for liver inflammation). Liver enzymes elevated about 6 mos. ago but still trying to determine the cause. Waiting for 2nd biopsy results now. I know 6MP can cause liver issues - has anyone developed those specific issues and if so, how was it resolved? Keep your fingers crossed that I won't need more prednisone -- HATE the stuff. Even though it does seem to work.

I haven't personally had that issue but I'm also aware that 6MP can cause it. I've been taking 6MP for over 10 years without issue but I think there was someone on the forum who did have liver issues or it actually might have been pancreatitis but can't remember which as it was a while ago. Sorry for the late reply and I do hope you get better soon.
