Thought I'd start a new thread concerning Crohn's in the news. Whether it's a medical breakthrough, an offbeat item, or an example of human triumph, I hope to add to this thread on a regular basis and hope others do as well.

I've always wondered if I had Restless leg syndrome but I think my symptoms were due to B 12 deficiencies. I kept getting little cracks in the corner of my mouth and never realized all the symptoms until I looked it up.


Great idea for a thread. Hopefully we will find a story titled "Cure for Crohn's Found" in our lifetimes!

That's funny because West Hartford, CT is the next town over from where I used to live in Farmington, CT.

They would probably do a fecal test to see how much bacteria and what kind of bacteria is in your stool. It's not a hard test to do and your GI shouldn't laugh at you for that. In fact if you do have restless leg syndrome then you be some good scientific data.
