Hi everyone,
I have a Crohn's question. I was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2000 after having a Colonoscopy and a small bowel follow through for confirmation. I have not had any real flares until recently when the pain and diarrhea have become more frequent. because of budget concerns I was not able to return to the same doctor who diagnosed me and instead went to the VA for another Colonoscopy and a CT Scan which was done on June 12 and June 19. The doctor who did the new one said there was no involvement of the small intestines with Crohn's disease. I was taking 900 mg of Asacol 3 times a day at the time of the Colonoscopy. I am still having the pain and frequent bathroom trips. My question is- Does crohn's disease just disappear and show no signs in the small intestines? I am confused with this turn of events.
