diarhea/constipation

Hi, i have recently been having the runs between 5 to 12 times a day.
now i am having difficulty going toilet and passing a lot of wind.
Iwas booked in for a colonoscopy but i have to see a gi consultant first.
ive been told borderline diabetic, low iron level and anemic.
Does chrohns or u/col present these symptoms.

Sure all of the above. The difficulty going may be caused by a narrowing from inflammation or some people who have Crohn's suffer from constipation instead. I was really low on iron and boarder line anemic before I was diagnosed and would have needed a transfusion if it hadn't been taken care of. Bleeding a absorption contribute to low iron levels.
